Jane lives in TriBeCa with her husband and two little boys. She relocated to New York from London last year in the warmth of the Fall. Having enjoyed many personal and work visits to New York previously, she was well versed in Manhattan life. She knew the tipping could be an infuriating experience, the taxis unpredictable and the views extraordinary.
However she is now getting the daily adrenalin surge of living in one of the world’s great cities. Off the Sidewalk helped her to settle into New York life. Now she’s loving helping new arrivals to get sorted just like she did.
She has experienced her first St Patrick’s Day stateside, one of the coldest Manhattan winters in recent memory and is getting used to the tipping.
She is still searching for the ultimate chinese delivery which arrives in a cardboard box.
